This privacy policy explains how CleanMersin handles personal information when you use cleanmersin.com, email info@cleanmersin.com, or ask us to administer an extended auto warranty. It is written for drivers, agreement holders, and people who send a claim estimate on a driver’s behalf. It does not describe the employment records of our own staff.

The forms on this website are checked in your browser. They show a confirmation and do not, by themselves, transmit a copy to us. Information you choose to send by email, or that a workshop sends while discussing a claim, is information we actually receive. Please read both situations below so the difference is clear.

1. Who is responsible

CleanMersin is responsible for personal information it receives about quotes, plans, claims, and email notes. When a repair facility sends an estimate, that facility is responsible for its own workshop records. When a roadside benefit is provided by a contractor named in a schedule, that contractor handles the location details needed for the visit under its own instructions and under the limits in the schedule.

You can ask privacy questions at info@cleanmersin.com. We do not require you to state a street address or a telephone number in order to read this policy or to use the public pages.

2. Information you may give us

If you email us or later complete a plan, we may receive your name, email address, vehicle year, make and model, odometer reading, how the vehicle is used, service history you choose to share, and the content of your message. A claim file may also include workshop estimates, photographs of components, diagnostic results, the agreement identifier, deductible amounts, and the decision we sent. Please do not send government identity numbers or full payment card numbers unless we specifically open a secure method and ask for them.

If you subscribe to notes, we receive the email address and the topics you selected. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that the address should not receive marketing, which means we retain the address for that suppression purpose rather than deleting every trace and then emailing you again by mistake.

3. Information collected on the website

The public pages are static. They do not ask you to create a password. A search box filters a short list of page titles inside your browser and does not send the query to us. Form validation also runs locally. If your browser or an optional analytics tool later stores a cookie, the cookie section of this policy describes how to control it. Server logs maintained by a hosting provider may include an IP address, the page requested, and the time, because that is how ordinary web hosting works. We use those logs to keep the site available and to understand which guides are read, not to build a marketing profile of your driving.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to answer questions, prepare quotes, decide whether a vehicle can be offered a schedule, administer a plan, pay or decline a claim, detect material misstatements, maintain records of decisions, send operational messages about a file you opened, and send marketing notes if you asked for them. We also use it to improve the clarity of plan language when a pattern of confusion appears, after removing details that would identify you in any public example.

We do not use claim photographs to train a public model, and we do not sell addresses. A published claim story uses a shortened name and omits the agreement identifier. If you ask us not to use even a shortened name, we will keep the mechanical lesson internal.

5. Legal bases, described plainly

Depending on the rules that apply to you, we rely on one or more of the following: your request that we quote or administer a plan, the contract that exists once a schedule is in force, a legitimate need to document decisions and prevent misuse, a legal duty to keep certain financial records, and your consent for optional marketing email. You may withdraw marketing consent on the unsubscribe page or by email. Withdrawing consent does not erase a claim decision that we must retain, and it does not cancel a warranty by itself.

6. When we share information

We share information with the workshop involved in your claim so the estimate can be approved or corrected, with a roadside provider when a benefit is used, with a payment handler if you later pay for a plan, and with professional advisers if a dispute requires it. We share information when a rule requires it, or when it is needed to protect a person from serious harm. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for unrelated third-party advertising.

If a plan is transferred to a new owner at your request, we share the remaining term and the vehicle details with that person. We do not send them your unrelated correspondence. Repair partners receive the technical facts they need, not a copy of every email you have ever sent us.

7. Email marketing

Marketing notes are optional. The subscribe form on this site demonstrates the information we would ask for: a name, an email address, and a topic. Because the on-page form does not transmit, joining a real list happens only if you email us or use a method we later identify as live. Every marketing note includes a way to stop. Suppression lists are kept so the stop is real. Transactional messages about a quote you requested or a claim you opened are not marketing, and they continue while the file is active.

8. Cookies and similar storage

Essential operation of a static page does not require a tracking cookie. Fonts may be requested from a font host when you load a page, and that host may see a technical request. If we add an optional measurement cookie later, we will describe it here before we rely on it for marketing, and we will not use it to decide a claim. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking them should not stop you from reading plan pages. The search and form features are designed to work without an account cookie.

9. How long we keep information

Quote inquiries that never become a plan are kept only as long as needed to finish the conversation and to show what was offered, then reduced or deleted on a routine cycle unless a complaint is open. Issued schedules and claim files are kept for the life of the plan and for a further period that lets us answer a late question, demonstrate why a decision was made, and meet record duties. Marketing suppression records are kept for as long as the address needs to stay unsubscribed. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational period set by the host.

10. Security

We limit access to claim files to advisors who need them for the decision in front of them. Email is convenient and is not a perfect vault, so we ask you not to send full card numbers in ordinary mail. No method of storage is free of risk. If we learn of a breach that creates a real chance of harm to people whose information we hold, we will notify those people and any authority the rules require, with a description of what happened and what we are doing about it.

11. Your choices and requests

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct a vehicle detail that is wrong, or ask us to delete information we do not need to keep. You may object to a use that is based only on our legitimate interest, and you may withdraw marketing consent. We may decline a deletion request when a schedule, a paid claim, or a legal duty requires the record, and we will explain that reason. To make a request, email info@cleanmersin.com from the address you want us to search. We may ask for enough detail to be sure we are writing to the right person before we release a file.

You may also complain to a privacy authority that has jurisdiction over you. We would like the chance to resolve the issue first. Please include what you asked for and the date of our reply, if you received one.

12. Information about other people

If you send an estimate that names a technician or you include a co-owner on a quote, you confirm that you are allowed to share those details for the purpose of the quote or claim. Do not send information about a minor. Our plans and this website are meant for adults who can enter a vehicle agreement. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

13. International messages

Email can cross borders because that is how mail providers route messages. If we or a host store information in more than one place, we still apply this policy. We do not use a border as a reason to weaken the limits described above. Where a rule requires a specific safeguard for a transfer, we use that safeguard or we do not send the information.

14. Automated decisions

Sample pages do not decide claims by an automated score. A person reads the estimate against the schedule. Tools may help organize a file, but a decline that matters is reviewable by the coverage director when you ask. We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects without a person, and we do not build hidden eligibility scores from browsing the marketing pages.

15. Third-party pages

Share links in the footer open services operated by other companies. Those companies have their own policies for the account you use, if any. A link is not an endorsement of every practice of that service. Once you leave cleanmersin.com, this policy no longer describes what happens.

16. Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page and change the effective notice at the end of the text when the substance changes. A change applies to information we collect after the update, and to existing files where the change is a clarification rather than a new use. If we ever wanted to use claim information for a new purpose that is not administration, we would describe that purpose and, where the rules require it, ask first. Continuing to browse public pages after an update means the updated policy applies to that browsing.

17. Contact

Privacy requests and questions go to info@cleanmersin.com. Write “Privacy” in the subject line, tell us the right you want to use, and include the email address associated with the file. We will reply to privacy requests within a reasonable period and sooner when a rule sets a shorter time. Coverage desk hours in the footer are when staff read new mail. They are not a limit on the rights in this policy.

Related pages: Terms and services, Subscribe, and Unsubscribe. This policy is the full notice for the website and for warranty administration described here. It should be read with the schedule if you hold a plan, because the schedule may repeat some of these duties in the language of the agreement.
